I am also informed and impartial. Cheers. And serp does not lack judgement either. _________________

Soap? You have to be kidding me. What the wraths are carrying? This wrath carries two Colts, and often two simple blades, and that's it.
Well--all right, she's also armed with her razor-sharp wit. You'd better watch that most of all. (Hmm, her sarcasm...she's always got that on hand, too.) _________________ =^..^=

I've been a manufactured Soldier as long as I've been in Midian. I'm more akin to a meld of Kurt Russell's character from "Soldier" and one of the new human-form Cylons tho.
Her synthetic portions include some "hard coding" in her brain, tweaks to the nerves and eyes, and the replacement of her ovaries with something more useful to a Soldier. Deb's in fact pretty close to a Bladerunner Replicant as she stands.
She was a "production model" and as such does not have any kewl "prototype" mods. She's as strong as an athletic male and was actually unaware that she was a Nonborn until after she got to Midian. She had some implanted memories to cover the first sixteen years of her life....and was under the impression that she was a biologically modded human.
Discovering the truth was a shock, and a fun RP that I truly appreciate Sammy's help in bringing off, despite whatever issues we may have had IC after that.
I inquired about the Mechs early on, but I was informed that they tended towards the "Toaster" type- so I joined the Sarcina instead and still managed to have a bit of fun with my background.
That all being said, as a Replicant-type BIO-mech I'm not sure how much credibility I have with the Metal crowd. I'm always happy to offer up my opinions tho - sometimes even when others would rather I didn't
Besides, I have some nasty plans I'm about to unfurl with my existing group *wink* I'm sure some mechs will be involved _________________ ~Deb Charron

You mean Iven?
Oops
But I agree with what Serp said. There's more folk who are fleshy's that carry greater firepower. I've seen a Neko with a huge fuck off cannon - also seen another with the word 'supersoldier' in his titler. _________________

Hmmm, Jade just ran a thread about name-dropping in the forums - or at least calling people out by name. If people here need to give direct feedback to others, might be best to do it PM or IM.
IMO, we can generalise here all we want - but specifics need special handling. _________________ ~Deb Charron

Look at it like this. If we create some kind of group to monitor the tech and someone comes in as a supermech - what we gonna do? Wag our fingers and looks surely saying 'you're very naughty!' until an admin comes online?
I propose that we create a runner's group. But create it from the leaders of all the mechs that are factions heads. That would be Deb, Serp and Me.
Now, herein lies the tricky bit. They'd have to have the power to eject within the defined Runner's group. Why? Because if you RP that some tard can't have a gun and he REALLY WANTS HIS GUN, he's gonna pull the void or start alot of OOC crap we'd best off be dealing with through the wondeful eject button. _________________

The runner group sounds more like it would involve human agents from the mainland. The vampire style group would be more along the lines of biomechs policing biomechs. As far as controlling weapons, just ask an admin when you see one on, there's usually one or two around at any given time. _________________ Sari-Mart

Trouble is mech's don't like fleshy's taking the reigns, now do they?
The way I see it our pitiful 6 or 7 mechs next to your 30 billion neko hardly makes us any kind of threat. _________________

I think you need to go back and read the first page again, this has been gone over already. _________________ Sari-Mart

Agreed.
Not that there even needs to be a revolution. Not like the Neko are all in slave camps at the behest of the UAC and being subjected to slave labour, are they?
Neko easily outnumber everyone else in the sim 2 to 1. A revolution is not necessary with those kinds of numbers. _________________

I am starting to become concerned by the growth in power of the Midian Biomechs, and their effect on sim balance. Biomechs are the only group with superior abilities (or alleged superior abilities) who have no Masquerade-like restrictions on their powers. To be frank, I'm concerned that's being abused, after seeing mechs who are bullet, EMP, explosive, and (probably) nuke-proof. Though this may be fun for them, for those have to RP against such behemoths this is more irritating than entertaining. Therefore, I propose a couple solutions to see what, if anything, people think is fair and balanced.
ok lets look at it another way.
I am becoming concerned about the growth of power of the Neko population. Their numbers are overwhelming, their territory ever expanding and their weapons quite, quite poweful indeed.
Do you see how relative it is? _________________

The Revolution is a sim-wide RP event that is actually being handled by a non-neko faction involving NPC neko characters and really doesn't have anything to do with the thread. _________________ Sari-Mart

I see you blatantly trolling this thread and flamebaiting.
In regards to your cliche neko-blasting, there are two neko factions. Territory has actually shrunk, and as far as the faction I personally help to regulate, I can attest to my end of the regulation.
So no, completely invalid. _________________ Sari-Mart
