oooh yes. I love the idea. I can only imagne what the UAC leadership would do if they knew that 1984, brave new World, and Fharanheit 451 were being read to the troubled youth of Midian.

THE SILENCED!
-Set in the future... a very, very, possible Midianesque future... this book is actually perfect for any underground resistance.

The Book Thief!
-Much like The Silenced, but set in Nazi Germany, narrorated by Death itself.

YAY! GO COLLEGE LIT CLASS!

How about a translated version of the Qur'an?

Could be banned for either religious fears or could be banned because of the claim that any translated version of the Qur'an isn't a true version of it. Take your pick.
