If the citizens of Midian would like more events like the date auction last Saturday we would be happy to have them ... this last one we had 14 people auctioned and the event lasted 8 hours ... I would like to know a couple things if you would like to have them ...
How often? monthly or bi-monthly?
how many people? bear in mind it worked well with the 30 minute time spans so we would keep that and yes we can vary the time of day ... we will not auction same people every time ... for this event we contacted faction leaders ... if we continue to have them ... we will post in IC section of forum looking for volunteers
so let me know your thoughts so i can get the next one scheduled

I like the idea of monthly, only because it was so much fun, who can wait two months for the next one. I do think the amount of people is good, the time span allowed for people in many time zones to participate, though I understand it could have been exhausting for you to run it the entire time. Maybe if it is tiring you could alway shave someone proctor the auction for you if you have to leave. I know scheduling can eb a killer for all of us.
All in all i thought it was great fun and will do it again anytime. And thank you for the wonderful party it was a blast.

I'm so gutted I couldn't get to the event, though I'd be happy to be auctioned, in fact now in my char's newly single status perhaps a speed dating event? lol

i would be happy to run a monthly event but ...
i will cut it down to 6 or 7 people so it only runs about 4 hours instead of 8 ...
i will also alternate Saturdays and Sundays and shift the times to try and include as many people as possible (yes i know our friends across the pond thought this one was a bit late) ...
people will also be rotated, i will try not to use anyone who has been auctioned in the previous 2 (once they are running) auctions

it was DEFINITELY fun, and a great idea to support Jade and Midian....  so hey, I am with you... not sure if I want to be 'bought', but since I would not have the money to auction someone myself, I would gladly support Midian with standing up there 'for sale' - IC Chandra might see that different, but would be fun anyway!

Chandra wouldn't want a willing victim for two hours? Especially one who's paid for the privilege? I find that hard to believe. Chandra being "rented" for a couple of hours for a large sum of money would certainly be a big ego stroke for her

I think the date auctions are a great idea. It was loads of fun, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Now, if there was a way to avoid being purchased by the Yakuza (Tatsuo seems to have some, err.. agreessions to work out), I might consider volunteering

*chuckles* damn those lasombra! haha.. ok.. hmmm.. well it might if the right person pays that large sum of money... but well... guess Damian didn't have fun either to be bought by Tatsuo! *is laughing* so yeah.... guess there is no choice there! sooo...
