Well I'm not so good at logos but will submit this picture I took as a possible background image. it's gree for anyone to use in a Logo for Midian if they wish

I can make literally thousands of different style of logo, those two above were just examples. Each took me about 15 seconds to make. So, if anyone would like to suggest a kind of....*feel* they think would be best in a logo, please do. I can also place the logo into one of the pics that are being provided, though, oddly, none of them have that gritty feel that I personally associate with Midian...

You all really have a lot of good ideas coming out of this... lacking such capabilities as putting up decent images of that sort, I'll just watch... but I'm enjoying the look at your talents.

Submitted for y'all's review Not sure if the logo is too dark - I like how it blends with the sky, though. Also was thinking of cropping out some of the ocean below the island to balance the spacial layout, but I like the sun on the water so I've left it for now.

Mordag, I love your "scratches"! They feel like someone made them with the same paper and ink used for architectural blueprints and I just find it really appealing. Nice sketch!
