Charles, this topic had absolutely nothing to do with super soldiers until you decided to make it that way. I'm not going to perpetuate the "x is better than y" argument because that's not what this topic is about.
If you had said "I would like to be x because..." then that would be a different story entirely, and would be well within the given topic.

Actually go back and read it in order i think the people that started taking the proverbial piss were you and deets.
Look at the chronological order of the events... Ok till Jay posted neko's had fleas, then comes the smary mouth of deets followed by tobers hidden sarcastic comment bout making fleas with nanites a sim wide rp event, yes tober your "vieled sarcasm" and jibes are not unnoticed, you are ever bit as "flaming" if not "more" so than those simply seeking "silly" debate. You are vicious but hide it well. You are not upfront bassically but hide behind your cleaverly veiled words. sure tober its fine for you to flame because genrally the masses don't pick up on it.
I said simply one post that given a choice of taking an existing midian species "Super soilder nekos are one" and creating an alternative in reality "a soilder with a frame designed for combat" i would chose the bear.. People joined in the debate, as happens. Was it a flame bout overly powered neko's being a bit ridiculous from a real world DESIGN point of view.. Sure.. but this is a game not the real world. It's fantasy, but in the REAL world if the tech available in midian to create such creatures exist I'd go with something a bit more substantial. Not once did i mention the ROLEPLAY of nekos in a FICTIONAL setting, I don't care bout neko's in midian, nor neko super soilders in midian cuz guess what!!!!!! It's not real....but if I was to take it to the REAL WORLD, from a pure DESIGN point of view I'd have chosen a bear as a chasis not a domestic cat, not even a tiger. The question was based on the REAL WORLD magic IF! it could be real would you chose it. No I wouldn't I would chose this... not my fault if people expanded on the answer then Deets and Yourself decided to up the anti, sorreh..fuck you there.
It grew, then it became a matter of tober thinking it was an attack on neko's. If saying "A neko is typically a small framed person with lack of muscule mass" is a flame rather than a general observation, well fuck lets not talk about the color of the sky. In fact lets not say neko's have ears or tails or anything that might be considered flaming, rena is a neko with out ears or a tail, so she's an exception to the observation so fuck me I might be flaming if i say "neko's typically have ears and a tail" ya know what fucking read. but then thats like asking you not to pick and choose the comments you want to pick up on and feel offended.
No one can make you feel good or bad or offended with out your consent.

No idea what a mouse type hybrid is called or the rabbit types either. I've seen both rabbit and mouse types around midian.
edit just found a lexicon
technically all the names for the species are just the japanesse words for the animal
neko means cat
inu means dog
kitsune is a fox
Usagi is a bunny
Mouse is Nezumi, or Mausu or Hatsukanezumi
