A Midian radio station? We need some DJ's...!
So if you have experience in DJ'ing, drop me a message here on in game.
The radio station will be IC (Hopefully some day with commercials and news). Steam is available.

Well... I was going to go into Telecommunications originally, so I have a year of actual radio experience, useful if this will indeed be in character. And I have a mic (and a computer obviously).
The only issue is that I've had no experience doing this for SL. If someone could run me through how to do it and get set up, I would gladly volunteer as well.

People who just haven't tried it in SL yet, but have similar experience are welcome to join. They should be able to hook up with more experienced SL DJ's and learn the tricks. Or so I imagine...

Also, if you want to act as your own server, go to Shoutcast and download the server installation:

the Shoutcast site also has tutorials
Some people use SAM 3 which is professional, but not free, I do have a free SAM 3 plugin if anyone wants it, just give me your e-mail, makes the quality a little better.

This is something I've been thinking about for a while, actually. I have lots of music that I think would fit the theme of Midian & Apoc very well. (if you recognize any of the band shirts Tober wears, then you'd know what to expect)
So, I'd love to do it if there's still openings

I've been an online DJ for over 5 years now, experienced with both winamp/shoutcast and Sam3. I have access to a server if needed and libraries of music.
I also work for a gaming company that is set to release a game in the US with an integrated radio station that I will be manager of.
My events/shows have been featured on Tech/G4 TV and also in PC gamer magazine.
I am experienced with creating advertisements as well and would more than happy volunteer my services to the good of the city.
