A memorial/funeral service for KAOS pirates, Hayagri Scar and former Trisula Momiji will be held 5PM SLT on SUN in the park. We will always remember them for their strength, their courage and strong will, they were feared warriors and good friends, loyal and dear to us at KAOS, all who feel the great loss are welcome to attend.

*consoles Nen and Marina* We are all pretty devastated. We will keep some of her ashes and maybe later Masha can come up with some of her mojo majics, or we can attempt to clone her and have a seance or something to bring her spirit back into the body. *plans and hopes* But bar that, she's passed to the next dimension, we are left with little peices of her still in many ways. She will always be, for me, like an elder, I will look up to her and learn from her always in memory and spirit.

Masha wakes with a rather inelegant snort, her head phones having slipped while she slept at her desk so that one big blue circle was covering her eye and the other tangled somewhere in the depths of her unbraided hair. Muttering curses in Kreyol, she attempts to shove them out of the way and rubs her cheek where the edge of the big medical textbook had left a mark. Drat Doctor Nik and his assignments. She *had* to go and ask him to teach her his kind of medicine.
She blinks owlishly at the screen, the green light making her dark skin take on an eerie tone, and considers her waiting Inbox, the slipped headphones letting the continued beeping noise of newly arrived mail through to her sensitive coyote ears. Stabbing a button to make the noise stop, she reads the collected e-mail of the week starting with an urgent note from Deb, complete with pictures. Her eyes grow wider and wider... the artifact open, a jungle? She sits bolt upright when she gets to Pera's note and quickly starts to type, ignoring the blue headphones woven into her hair like an odd ornament.
"Cher,
What do you mean, Momi is dead? And Scar? What happened? Is this something to do with the jungle or some such down in the ruins? I will call you soon, alright?

Masha presses 'send' then hurriedly sets about getting washed and dressed, her stomach growling loudly, pausing absently to cut the headphones free from her twining hair. She'd been studying for days, blocking out the world. What by the good god had happened?

Pera sighs heavily, the dreary rain drenched day spawned from the artifact echoing her mental state, drops of wind-thrown water beating on the windowpane like little pebbles, the girl's head cradled in delicate upturned hand supported by her elbow, tears sliding down the landscape of her forlorn facial features betraying her severly mournful state. She looks down shaking her head, hesitantly pressing the send button to her own computer, adding one also with the same message to Deb....
What happened? Who is responsible? Well, we are mourning those responsible at the service, you see...they killed each other.

(More info about the funeral for those attending, it will be a tribute to nature, something Scar loved and the warrior's free spirit and of course the two that embodied that. Being a pirate is a lot about being free and wild like nature intended which is why we like being out in Apoc rather than the city. Bangkok is set right on the ocean and so the sea, the wide open sky and nature is all right there and Scar's ashes will be released.)

Momiji gave me my Placement fight into the Sarcina and I consider her loss to us all a severe one. Scar I did not know well except for the great assistance she gave us on a recent Hunt - but many have spoken highly of her and I am very sure she will be deeply missed.
I would like to propose a formal truce if/as required for 30 mins pre and post the service as well as during it.
If there is no objection on the part of any party involved. Scar was a former Sarcina Secundus and Momiji was serving in the role currently - and I am sure many of the Sisters would wish to say their farewells.
Additionally, both had many friends spread across all of Midian - friends who may have at one time or another have been at odds with one another.
So, I propose the truce and safe-conduct thru the ruins to the service loaction for the period mentioned so that all wishing to say goodbye may do so unmolested. My thought is that at some time or another, we will all have some loved-one we wish to show final respects for - and that holding a funeral procession/service as inviolable would be one thing we could all reciprocate on reguardless of Faction affiliation or personal feud.
I am sure Momiji and Scar will rate several private memorials, so if the various factions can agree to respect the sanctity of the moment I believe it would be a fitting tribute to these two we have lost.
KAOS has gone to great lengths to honour these women, so I hope that we can honour their efforts by reserving this time to remember those we have lost and not to disrupt the proceedings.
Momiji's love of music was known to me, and I am sure KAOS will have something awesome lined up to honour her.

Thanks for that Deb, we encourage all that would like to attend to do so, there are many people who knew them both for much longer than we have at KAOS going all the way back to the original Hound times, everyone who wants to do so will have as much time as they like to say and pay their own respects before the ashes are cast.
