Due to a change in servers, this update will not be automatically sent out. All MCS users will be required to visit the upgrade station which can be accessed via a teleport in the taxi.
To upgrade, drop your old MCS onto the updater, then touch the update box. You should receive your update shortly after that. Once you have the update, please pick up your old MCS and delete it from your inventory. Do not leave the old MCS lying on the ground. Not only will it create more lag for the sim, but also if it is left on the ground and deleted prior to receiving your update, there will be no way for you to get the new update. |

When I updated my MCS, I noted that a lot of people had left their old ones lying around, despite the message not to. This may stem from them not knowing HOW to actually pick them back up, since the instructions did not say how to switch on viewing of invisible prims. So here's how:
Ctrl-Alt-T will make all invisible prims shine a transparent red colour, which makes everything a helluva lot easier. And you can pick up the cylinder that is your old MCS easily. |
