OOC Intro
Ok I am going to post both information that players can use in game, and his hidden backstory here. Please keep the hidden backstory out of play, as it is only intended to help me develop his personality, and to give you something nice to read. Feel free to use the in-game information though, but remember, use it appropriately. It is presented as a military record, which would likely be classified. So an average street urchin knowing this info is unlikely, but someone smuggling military goods, or the police, might possibly know parts of this file, or all of it. Finaly, because everyone seems to disagree as to what year the game takes place in, and because of involvement in storylines/plots, I have set the years in this bio so that the current year is 2035, which would mean that Reinhardt was born in 2010. If its ever decided that the game is in a specific year for everyone, then I will redo that portion of the bio as appropriately.

The below is a biography of Reinhardt. It is not know or recorded anywhere IC. This, if it becomes known, will be discovered through RP. Yes, its not very entertaining, I can create details, not entertainment unfortunately. It's only meant to present the facts regarding who he is, what has made him, and where he comes from.

Reinhardt was born in 2010 in Berlin, Germany to mother Amelinda and an unnamed father. The father was never present in Reinhardts life, and Reinhardts opinion is that it's for the best.

His first sibling, brother Emerick, was born in 2012 when Reinhardt was 2 years old. Emericks father was a man not Reinhardts father, though this man, like Reinhardts father, disappeared shortly after Emericks birth. Reinhardts learly childhood is lost in memory to him, but already the tone was being set by his mother. She was aggressive, demanding, physicaly, emotionaly and mentally violent, even while her children were still infants and toddlers. Any mistakes got screamed at, a childs fit or or temper tauntraum would be severly physically punnished. In the years leading up to the war of 2015, Reinhardt, only 5 years old when the war broke out, was involved in a war at home, which by his adulthood, he remembers nothing of.

In 2016, by yet another father, Anneleise, Reinhardts sister was born. Reinhardt was 6 years old at the time, and at this time with his mothers constant abuse, he began to develop his protective urges for his siblings. He often would do something, when his mother was abusing one of the other two, to draw her attention onto him. Even at the age of 6, he was able to see the fact that she would single mindedly focus on a single target, and used that to protect his siblings even at the cost of his own physical safety.

Reinhardts school life wasn't much better. Because of the personality of reclusiveness and shyness being instilled in him at home, and compounded with his lacking physical stature compared to other children, he was often the target of group-bullies, often resulting in violent confrontations. This additional violence helped instill a sense of seperation from the rest of humanity within him.

As Reinhardt moved into secondary schooling, the maturity of the fellow students allowed him some peace at school, though unfortunately the violence at home continued. Because of his mothers addiction to specific smoked street drugs, Reinahrdt often arrived at school smelling of these drugs, but because of its prevelance at home, was unaware of the scent. Because of this, with the onset of puberty and a growing brain-chemical imbalance, his issues were ignored by school staff who assumed that Reinhardt was slipping into drugs, and beyond help. While Reinhardt managed to finish his secondary schooling after much difficulty, it was only because of his stubborn, independant nature rather than an ability to obtain help from others.

He often got in trouble with the law while in this era of his life. The police reports indicate that he was often spotted in the midst of "questionable" activites, and durring investigation by local police, little more than corrupt private security companies in the slowly growing German nation, was able to avoid being charged with the reports indicating nothing conclusive. The real "quesitonable" acivities he was engaging in were a form of vigilante justice. His life had made him quite aggressive when it comes to those he witnesses bullying others. As such, when he witnessed such an activity or heard rumors of it, he would proceed on a mission to gather intelligence on the perpetrator, eventually turning to stalking, and then eventually outright murdering the offending indivdual. By the end of this phase of his life, he had already killed over 12 individuals, though in his mind he was protecting people just like him and his siblings, and felt only the smallest hint of remorse. By carefully planning all operations, and placing the correct amount of money into the right hands, he was able to ensure that the police "found" no crimes to charge him with.

At the time of his graduation from secondary schooling in 2027, he underwent a very dramatic life changing situation at home. His mother, who had ceased her physical abuse of her children some years ago but had continued with mental and emotional abuse, disappeared without a trace. A police investigation was launched, and before adequate time had elapsed for an indepth investigation, the case was closed suddenly without Reinhardts mother being found. Because of his past dealings with the police, Reinhardt knew what this meant, but also knew that sometimes, you don't go looking for answers. He hid from this, unable to cope, as did his siblings. His brother had left home, aged 15 at the time, getting involved in street gangs and crime in Berlin and would spend the rest of his life in and out of the legal system. Reinhardts sister left home at the same time, 11, and despite Reinhardts best attempts, remained hidden from Reinhardt, having moved in with a boyfriend 12 years older than her. While Reinhardt remained in infrequent contact with his brother, he wouldnt hear from his sister untill 2033, notifying him of her marriage, though no information was given as to who this person is. With the loss of his entire family in one way or another, Reinhardt turned to one of the many civilian militias of the post-war world.

He served in the civilian militia as a recon/intel expert. He often spent long periods of time alone, under cover, and operating independantly. Often his work required sniper/assassin work, and his success in the field earned a name for himself in the 2 short years he served with this militia. While serving, the german military approached his militia in 2029, transfering him to active military duty. His civilian criminal record was sealed at this time by order of the german government. His mission profile was expanded to deep covert activities; intel, recon, and assassination being the primary focuses of his missions. His time serving in the milita and german military has changed him, teaching him a harder way of life, and the betrayal by his family, the ones he had tried to protect for so long, has taught him that not all victims deserve protection, and someitmes even he finds himself acting like those he once hated, both of which he struggles with daily in an attempt to come to terms with. His work was part of the german governments push for expansion throughout Europe durring these rocky times, allowing the country to take most of Europe under its flag. After 4 years of minor warfare and peacefull annexation, the German Imperial Republic ceased its expansion due to political pressure from outside powers in an attempt to avoid further open war. This allowed the government to focus internally for some time.

The german government contracted out to a private multinational company for some research into human mutation and how it might be harnessed. This company, Vision Labs with its headquarters in Nexus Prime, unfortunately did not return results that germany approved of. The lead scientist, Doctor Eric Traus, became disillusioned by the project, citing moral implications, and after seducing a collegue, Doctor Joanna Sparks, devised a plan to steal resources from the project allocated by the german government, as well as the government of Nexus Prime. He intended to use the resources in terrorist activites, and so was deemed a threat to world security. Reinhardt was sent to elinate the rogue scientist.
The mission was to eliminate Traus, but if possible, convince Sparks to fall in line. He was to eliminate all data and report back. The mission went according to plan, and Traus was eliminated and Sparks did indeed fall into line. The data was destroyed, but not before it was learned that Traus had dispatched an experimental android on his terrorist activites. Sparks revealed the location of this android, and Reinhardt was redeployed to finish the job. He was sent to a civilian cruise liner, where the android had been sent. He was unable to find the android though, before the cruise liner ran into an unknown reef as a result of electrical malfunctions off the coast of the fabeled Midian city.

Reinhardt was among the first citizens to abandon the cruise liner, landing in Midian where he intended to get things in order to carry out the mission, knowing full well that all the passangers on the ship would be evacuating as well. Unfortunately his time in Midian has not been pleasant, as he has run afoul of one of the local gangs, a group of nekos.
He has engaged in several battles with them, and suffered permenant injury as a result; the loss of his left leg, the removal of his tongue, the removal of his right eye, the removal of his penis, and the removal of his testicals twice. Luckily, the testicals, penis, and tongue have all been replaced, but the constant physical injuries are teaching him the weakness of flesh and bone and he is now in the process of obtaining cybernetic implants to repair the injuries and continue with his orders. He knows that afterwards, he will be stranded in Midian and on his own, and every day, his orders look less and less important.

Once his hardware modifications were well underway, though it is likely they will never really cease, his involvement with Riley Mensing really began to flourish. So much so, that her status as a wolflike mutant drew out specific parts of his personality that had always laid dormant. These new personality traits wore heavily on his shoulders, he had a wolfpack mindset, but himself was fully human, albeit enhanced with cybernetics. He felt as if his outside should match his insides, and so, he obtained canine DNA and reprogramed his unlimited supply of nanobots to begin the slow process of self mutation. The transition has been slow so far, and he has no idea how far it will go, as the nanobots continue their reprogramming work and he delights in discovering new parts of himself, and sharing them with his partner Riley.

Unfortunately, as matters continued to develop, particular with a government issued bounty he executed apon a high ranking Biomech, Reinhardt realized his affiliation with Riley was putting her in danger not just from the Biomechs, but several other factions and individuals he had crossed. Because of this, he terminated their relationship, against their mutual desires. Soon after this, he got himself made over, joining the Benelli Family as an Enforcer.

While his work with Riley Mensings mutation has ceased, he continues to monitor the mutaiton of his own DNA, and has reached a balance he has become comfortable with and stoped. His knowledge of DNA manipulation is due entirely to downloaded files, obtained thanks to his cybernetic implants. In addition to the information on DNA manipulation, he obtained files relevant to biomechanical surgery, including the creating, repairing, and upgrading of biomechs for use on himself and others.

An unfortunate series of events led to Reinhardt de-cyborgification. The events begin with his designing and converting the man Degrifter McMillian in a full conversion cyborg, that is, a complete machine with a human brain and prehaps another part or two being natural. Following this some time later, he would preform the same service for Sekai. Many people have questioned his motives in these, since he very publicly displays hatred of biomechs. In reality, his hatred isnt of biomechs, but rather, members of the biomechanical guild, who are in his opinion nothing but slaves to a computer program with their own minds and wills stripped. Eventualy, tensions rose between Degrifter and Reinhardt culminating in public arguments between the pair. Reinhardts government offered a bounty not only on Degrifter, but on all high ranking biomechs, and one day, an oppertunity presented itself to Reinhardt; to kill Degrifter. Reinhardt took the chance, but unfortunately, the biomechanical guild responded in kind. The guild attacked and severly injured Reinhardts then partner, Riley Mensing. As a result, Reinhardt felt it necessary to terminate the relationship with her for the sole purpose of protecting her from any backlash. Unfortunately this wasnt the case, as she then conspired with the biomechs who had promised her asistance in convincing Reinahrdt to return to the relationship. Unfortunately, Riley was betrayed, and severly beaten by the biomechs in an attempt to lure Reinhardt into a trap. The trap failed, but the beating of Riley left her mentally damaged. She felt the only road to Reinhardt was revenge, and so, she willingly joined the Biomechanical Guild. Unfortunately, the deal she offered was herself in exchange for Reinhardts freedom, but the Alma Matar betrayed the deal, and instead turned Riley into a weapon against Reinhardt.

The weapon worked exceptionaly well. It was able to throw Reinhardt into an unstable emotional and mental state which has thrown his new relationship into jeapordy. As well, in his unstbale state, he attacked and killed Riley Mensing, and was in turn captured by the Biomechanical guild. Once in their clutches, each and every implant was torn out of him, one at a time, by the most brutal and torturous means, while the machines used kept him alive, awake, and conscious. To prolongue his suffering, they dumped his mutilated body at the Medical Center for treatment, without ever revealing to him that he had not, infact, killed Riley, they had cloned her out of sympathy, and transplanted her brain (the only part to survive Reinahrdts attack), into the new body. Reinhardt had been left, unconscious, in the medical center beleiving he had killed Riley, and knowing that his new relationship was likely lost, even before it had properly began.

Unfortunately, the relationship never properly recovered. It looked to Reinhardt as if it had reached a managable, stable state although it quickly became apparent to him that he could not handle the nature of what was wanted by his partner. As such, with that already agitating him, when he was falsely accused of raping Riley, he flew into a rage that lasted hours. He ran through the city, randomly attacking people he could no longer control himself from attacking, untill eventualy, a gun was put to his head, and like he had done to Riley, his head was shot at point black range. Unlike Riley though, the damage to his brain was irrepairable, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Weaknesses
Its come to my attention that some people either dont know how to read between the lines, refuse to read between the lines, are uncreative, or have no idea what any of the above even means. So I am going to be nice and list my weaknesses.
- Broken Bones - his bones can break, if enough force is exerted to overcome the resistance granted by his enhancements. That is, more than 3000lbs of force is required to break any bones in his body. It CAN be done, just not easily.
- Brain Chemicals/Behaviour Patterns - If one reads the background story, mental triggers can be found in his personality that cause him to fly off the handle, become uncontrollable, and act inappropriately. Additionaly, brain chemical imbalances due to his mutation mean that his mood can be eradic, despite his attempts to control it.
- All other damage and injury is incurred as normal, even though his mutant regeneration will heal him of everything except limb loss or brain damage.
