Well... I tried to come back on several occasions to conduct the next phase of the murder mystery. Twice, the sim was pre-occupied with other major storyline events. It was just bad timing so I kept putting it off.
Now, when I log into SL the video goes absolutely ape-shit. I've tried everything I can think of to make it work. I even downgraded to an old GeForce 3Ti just to take a shot in the dark.
The current problem makes it impossible for me to know where I am placing things in the world (the UI appears just fine). This, in turn, makes it impossible for me to stage a murder scene and any corresponding events.
I know a few of you out there were following this closely, but it seems that it just wont progress at all for a while. The only thing I can think of to get things moving again would be for someone else to take over GM duties. Even that would be difficult as alot of the scenes were planned around certain location specific factors. I have no idea if these things have changed, or even exist at all. So the ability to re-write whats in the story a tad to match the location on the fly is a must.
A couple people mentioned interest in the "Bourne Identity" type suspense RP I was just starting before the problems began. I now have a working story, though I had intended to lay a foundation with a couple of alts. That is, at the moment, impossible. |
