"The Barney Song"
I love you....you love me
We're A Happy Fam-I-Lee....
With a Great Big Hug
And a Kiss From Me to You...
Won't you say you Love,,,
Me..
Tooo...

When my daughter was very small and also very ill for a while, she got a lot of comfort from watching her "Barney the Dinosaur" videos.
SO...12 years later.....my daughter is fine and I have that damn song firmly embedded in my cortex _________________ ~Deb Charron

After reading through this thread, the aging and occasionally thought of feeble minded Auntie walks the streets of Midian, humming a tune in her head about a "purple dinosaur and a kangaroo tied to a burning bed" and somehow realizes she "Can't smile without this image in her mind".
THANK YOU all for further complicating the thought processes of a simple lady who only wishes to live in peace as a "middle aged women".
If indeed, Auntie ever goes "postal" in Midian, we know where the blame falls. _________________ "YES, I KNOW your life is full of "DRAMA", but sometimes you just have to put on your big girl panties and deal with things" |

LMAO. I'm going to be giggling throughout the work day, making the students think that the crazy librarian has finally gone off her rocker...
Auntie, if you ever do go postal, we have to get you an old-lady head-kerchief and a cat. That way you can complain about the rain and shake the cat in people's faces while humming the tune about the purple dinosaur and kangaroo tied to a burning bed.
And now, courtesy of my fiance, the song that is currently stuck in my head:

BRIGHT PURPLE!!! That is wonderful. I have a lovely purple dress I wear and the people of Midian just adore it. _________________ "YES, I KNOW your life is full of "DRAMA", but sometimes you just have to put on your big girl panties and deal with things" |

I had never heard that song before, but that is THE most evil song in the world. I've heard it about half way through and now and it's stuck in my head! What sort of evil culture comes up with a song like that? I thought Midian was evil! |

It's not a song specifically, but I have songs from "Tool" and "A Perfect Circle" running through my head for two days.
Maynard's voice has a way of worming into my brain and sitting in there for hours. |
