I'm currently renting a store in Midian and have had moderate success with sales, mostly meaning my sales are cutting even with the rent. Given that my stock is a bit old, I'm not using all my prims and many in Midian are dirt broke because of too many alts, I'm not suprised.
So, given this I decided to redesign the store in the coming weeks to contain needed free items for Midian residents. Of course the catch will be everything will include a landmark to my store and everything will be no transfer *shrugs*
Now, the point of this message is what do people want or need as freebies in Midian City? And please do not say skins unless you know someplace that has LEGAL full perms skins I can resell.

PS : I'll also be rearranging to store to look more like a real store or pawn shop.
Items already mentioned to me:
- prop weapons
- more black clothing
PPS: Well, I found some open source skins and shading models so I guess I'll be working on basic free skins as well.

Freebies, yay! Who doesn't love a freebie.
Perhaps anims? Such as individual ones, poses, (not necessarily full a/o's) that enhance what a char can 'do' in a scene? |

Stephan, good luck with the store. I always support local merchants and I think your idea to furnish some "freebies" is a very generous gesture.
Under the category of "Items already mentioned to me" I am shocked not to see BRIGHT CLOTHING LISTED".
If you knew the amount of people who have expressed a desire to rip my dress off you would see that bright clothing (especially yellow, key lime and pink) is an untapped market in Midian.

Skins - Eloh Eliot gives away her skins for free, including the PSDs to mod them. She has mostly women's, but one men's as a starter. You'd have to ask about 'selling them' even if for free -- not sure how that works with the licensing.

sounds great! and picks up on a suggestion that was made quite some time ago for the roleplay academy as well.  so double-great!
regarding the skin-freebies: maybe the licensing of free skins would be solved by just putting some picture of the place where you originally would get them along with a LM so everybody can just go there and grab them themselves. guess that is the more complicated way in terms of 'picking them up' for the individual 'buyer', but at least a quick solution to it without lots of legal researching...

| Yes, it's the Eloh Eliot skins and the Robin Wood shading models I found. Eloh's PSDs are under a 'share alike' license meaning that I can mod the skins and sell them commercially as long as I ALSO create at least one free full perm one and share the textures or files (I'll be making alot more then one). |

Actually, she's given permission to resell if they're modified by the reseller so long as they follow her rules notecard. PM me for a copy if you'd like Stephan.
