Awwwww Tober dear, Auntie was so sad when she read the latest entry.  WHY, WHY, WHY would anyone ever want to hurt such a cute kitty as you?
Tober, you come and stay at the Center ANYTIME you want  You and ALL the kitties are always welcome and nobody will harm you there. Auntie also always has fresh cream and catnip if you want it, OH and also the kitty bed.

It's good news for me! Actually, I should post the IC and OOC notice I sent out to the CWs. It explains everything well. Next time I log in, I'll copy and paste it here.
It's good news for KAOS, because I want to devote a little more time to KAOS activities if I can.

Hello my fellow pridemates,
Recent events in my life have made me realize how short and precious life is, and it's also made me realize that it's unfair of me to put the entire pride in danger because of my actions or carelessness. I want to focus my energies on things that I find important in Midian, which will hopefully better *everyone's* lives here, not just those of The Catwalkers. Because of all this, I am stepping down as your Matron.
Don't worry, I won't be going away, I just won't be leading you. I will still be around to help out in the pride and I will assist with the transfer of leadership as much as I possibly can. Please respect my decision, because my mind is made up on this. I still love you all, and thank you so much for letting lead you over these past several months. It's been quite the experience.

Hello my fellow pridemates,
This is something I've given a lot of thought, so please respect my decision. I am stepping down as Catwalker Matron.
When I volunteered to be matron, it was to help bring the CWs back to their former glory and perhaps with a few improvements. I feel together we have achieved and exceeded that goal. I'm proud of that, to be sure, but that alone is not a reason for me to stay as matron. I know many of you look up to me, and I know you like having me as co-matron, which is wonderful, but again, it's not a reason for me to stay. In all honesty, I never really *wanted* to be a leader, but I found myself being one anyway...which was fine for a while. But somewhere along the way, I lost the essence of Tober in the process and just became "the matron". And, for me, being "the matron" isn't fun. And, as a friend outside of Midian put it, "If it isn't fun, then why are you still doing it?" She has an excellent point.
So, I am going to "retire" as it were. I would still like to be involved with the pride, but perhaps on a more consulting basis as needed or maybe even as Stitcher again, or trainer. And of course, I still have many friends and family in the pride. I also will be spending more time in RL now that the warm weather is here, and I want to spend more time with my girlfriend Chloe. I also want to get back to some of the simple, carefree roleplay I used to have. And, I want to be involved in KAOS more. I think it would be an exciting change for me.
As for what happens to the Catwalkers now, well that's up to all of you. I have no doubt that you'll all continue to make the pride one of the best factions in the city, and you'll make me proud.
